Eleven years ago, I was on the other side of this. I know what it feels like to need help, to finally accept it, and to have the right care change everything.

My recovery didn’t happen by accident. It happened because I had access to high-quality treatment and the kind of support that held me together while I figured out how to hold myself together. That experience didn’t just change my life. It gave it direction.

Shortly after completing treatment, I went back to school, earned my bachelor’s in psychology, then my master’s in clinical psychology, and built a career around the thing that saved me: connecting people with the right care at the right time, and staying with them through it.

I’m a fourth-generation Nevadan, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I built NRC because I believe everyone deserves what I was fortunate enough to receive. Not a referral to a website. Not a phone number to call alone at 2am. Real, structured, clinical support — delivered in a way that fits your life.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably trying to figure out what to do next. We’re here to help you figure that out.[/ultimate_heading][/vc_column]

Mental health care shouldn’t require putting your life on hold. Too many people in Nevada who need structured support can’t access it — not because it doesn’t exist, but because the logistics don’t work. Work schedules that don’t bend. Families that need them present. A two-hour round trip to the nearest clinic.

NRC was built to solve that problem. Virtual-only, by design. Intensive, clinical-grade mental health treatment that comes to you. Your job stays. Your family stays. Your care starts.

We treat:

How We Treat

Everything in NRC’s program is grounded in evidence-based treatment — the same modalities used in the best in-person programs, adapted for the screen without losing clinical rigor.

NRC’s integrated approach includes:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) — structured, skills-based, focused on changing thought patterns that keep people stuck
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) — distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness
  • Motivational interviewing (MI) — meeting people where they are instead of where someone thinks they should be
  • Trauma-informed care — every part of the program is designed with the understanding that trauma shapes how people experience mental health and treatment itself
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management — delivered by licensed psychiatric providers over secure video
  • Structured group therapy and skills curriculum — built around peer support and practical tools

Small groups. Individual sessions. Nevada-licensed therapists. The clinical standard doesn’t drop because the location changed.

What Makes NRC Different

NRC isn’t owned by a hospital system or a private equity firm. It’s led by a clinician who built the program, runs the program, and holds it to a personal standard.

Founder-led. Jack is involved in clinical decisions because he built this to be the kind of program he’d trust with his own family. That’s the standard every decision runs through.

Virtual by design. NRC didn’t move online because of a pandemic. It was built virtual from day one — the technology, the group structure, the scheduling, and the clinical model all designed for the screen, not adapted to it.

Nevada only. One state. Full focus. Every therapist is Nevada-licensed. Every program decision is made with Nevada in mind.

Evidence-based. CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. No proprietary methods. No unvetted frameworks. The approaches that work in the best programs in the country.

Built for Nevada. Only for Nevada.

Jack isn’t a national brand that added Nevada to a license map. He’s from here — fourth generation. His family has been in this state since before most of the cities looked the way they do now. Nevada isn’t a market to him. It’s home.

There are national virtual IOP programs that technically serve Nevada. Most of them are good. But they were built in Colorado, or Texas, or Ohio. Nevada is just another state on their license map.

NRC was built here. By someone from here. For the people who live and work here. Nevada-licensed therapists. Nevada insurance expertise. A clinical team that understands the realities of this state — the shift workers, the families spread across a state where the next city is two hours away, the people who’ve been told their only option is a program they can’t get to.

We only serve Nevada. That’s not a limitation. That’s the point.
